The Dylan Hague Fund
In June of 2019, NRAC lost a dear friend and supporter. At the request of Dylan Hague's family, we’re asking for donations, the proceeds of which will be used to enhance the climbing experience at Summersville Lake, WV.
NOTE: Thanks to you all, we raised in excess of our goal...and then we did it again...so we're raising the goal one more time. The new goal is $10,130.
On June 6, 2019, our dear friend and supporter, Dylan Hague, was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident. Dylan was raised on trips to the New River Gorge with his father Dan, and although he most recently resided in Seattle, Dylan often spoke of returning to his home crag—the NRG. At the request of his family, we set up the Dylan Hague Fund, the proceeds of which will enhance conservation and the climbing experience at Summersville Lake.
Within a day and a half, we met our goal of $5,130. Again at the request of Dylan's family, we raised the goal to $8,130...and promptly hit it again. So, once more we have raised the goal, this time to $10,130. If we don't raise another penny, we will still count the Dylan Hague Fund as a fitting testament to how much Dylan is loved and how sorely he will be missed.
Still, it would be nice to crush this thing one more time. Will you help us?
