Help Springbrook Help Avi and His Friends
Support the school that’s making a huge difference for hundreds of families like ours
As many of you know, our son, Avi, has autism. For the last two years, he’s been living at Springbrook in Oneonta, NY, as a student in the Tom Golisano Center for Autism. Moving Avi to a residential program was hugely difficult for us, but the professionals at Springbrook made the transition smooth and give us the reassurance, every day, that Avi is under the best and most loving care.
This year, the staff has been working with Avi on vocational tasks, and he is becoming more independent around the campus. In addition, the Springbrook care team has helped Avi achieve a healthy weight. Avi comes home every other weekend, and we continue to work with his behaviorists to help him generalize the positive behaviors he’s learning at school and apply them at home.
We are very grateful for everything Springbrook does – not just for Avi but for our whole family. That’s why we urge you to make a donation in honor of Avi and the hard work he does to achieve his goals under the guidance of the incredible Springbrook staff. Your support means so much to us!
