Malku Institute of Technology is a private research and training institution incorporated in Uganda. In 2017, Malku signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Africa Institute for Strategic Resource Services and Development (AFRISA). AFRISA is an innovation and partnership platform in Makerere University that was formed to deliver transformation to communities through Skills, Science, Technology, and Innovation (SSTI).
The HEEP project is anchored in a strong institutional arrangement that supports its expansion not only in Uganda but across Africa. The goal of HEEP is to improve household income and food security in the target community though investment in human capital.
