Meet the Big Kids!

A Discussion on Growing up in Baltimore City

Meet the Big Kids! And their parents, too!

Are you a parent in the city?  Is your head spinning with the idea of navigating city life with tweens and teens? Join DBFA and the older and wiser kids and parents for a social panel discussion on the challenges and victories that come with raising older kids in the city!  Hear straight from the kids about the challenges, obstacles and benefits that come with growing up in Baltimore City.

Please register below for either of the two events. Our first up is on Feb. 28th at Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle School.  The second event will be held on June 6th at the Creative Alliance.  We will have childcare spots available for $5 per child during both events.  To secure childcare, you must register for that as well in advance by filling out both the event registration AND the corresponding childcare form below.  Thanks in advance for your patience, as we know it's a bit taxing to enter your info in more than once.

DBFA works to connect communities and empower families to advocate on behalf of good schools, safe streets and tight-knit communities to ensure that Baltimore is a place where families thrive!

Visit to learn more about DBFA and our programs, including how you can gain entry to the hottest party in town, our annual Stoop Soiree Fall Gala!  With limited tickets available, they will sell out early - the only way to guarantee you'll be cutting a rug with us is by signing up for - or renewing! - a contributing membership today!
