Help Furnish a Survivor's New Home!

An empty house without furniture is not a home. A home is a place of comfort, safety, and personal identity. When survivors of domestic and sexual violence are placed in furnished units, their chances for success are increased exponentially.
Quanada has federal funds to lease more than ten units for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. We need your help to make sure these units are homes and not just houses or apartments.
Slumberland’s 40 Winks Foundation will be providing mattresses, box springs, and frames for children in the transitional housing program. Additionally, the Quincy Slumberland store will be helping us purchase the remainder of the needed furniture items significantly below MSRP so each dollar donated to our program will have maximum impact.
All donations will be used to purchase furniture and household items for the transitional housing program.
Do you have a gently used piece of furniture you would like to donate? We may be able to accept items from SMOKE-FREE homes. Email us pictures and descriptions at [email protected].
