Grassy Branch Creek Community Gathering
Food, Refreshments, & Prizes
Tennessee Environmental Council is hosting the Grassy Branch Creek Community Gathering on Friday, September 27th from 5 - 7 pm to celebrate our past success and showcase the Grassy Branch Creek Restoration Project. Food, refreshments, and prizes provided. The location is at the Walking Trail entrance at the corner of Bern Dr and Port Royal Road.
This event is an opportunity for the Wyngate Estates & Spring Hill community to meet Tennessee Environmental Council staff, learn about the project, how it impacts the land and water, how to get involved - as well as have a fun Friday evening by the water!
Tennessee Environmental Council has a rich history cleaning up Grassy Branch. The goal in 2019 is to restore over 600 feet of stream bank of Grassy Branch Creek in the lower section of the Wyngate subdivision. Community involvement is fundamental to the project's success. This starts with educating about the importance of restoration in our neighborhoods and backyards.
Join us at the creek!
