Our year has kicked off to a great start! Our students are continuing to learn about the various aspects of film and media in conjunction with their core classes. As we look ahead, we are making plans for our 6th grade field trip to the Warner Brother’s Studio Tour (February 2020) AND Universal Studios Tour (June 2020). All dates are tentative.
At the Warner Brothers tour, our students will get VIP tours. These tours last approximately two and a half hours and take our students behind-the-scenes to visit closed-sets, working sound stages, and even the incredible prop warehouse! They will listen to stories only Hollywood insiders hear about the making of some of the most famous films and TV shows. For the Universal Studios Tour, it also includes access to our world famous theme park, where we will conduct a scavenger hunt connected to core lessons.
Friends of King and T. S. King Middle School are committed to providing support for enrichment learning opportunities for all students, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. The total cost of the program, including transportation, is $160 for each student. For your convenience, we have provided a payment schedule--$40 per month, totaling $160.
