Jessie's Mission - The Infinite Love Mane Event

Meet Jessie - she is an amazing young woman, a senior at Trumbull High School, a member of the THS Girls Outdoor Track and Field team, AND she has been growing out her hair for over a year in order to raise funds for Childhood Cancer Research and to help local families who are struggling with the financial burden a pediatric cancer diagnosis brings. 

She will be cutting her hair at: Moda Capelli Salon in Fairfield, CT in early October 2019. She wants to use this month to raise funds. Her goal is $10,000 and we think that is incredible. You can donate through this Flipcause campaign we have started on her behalf, as well as at Moda Capelli Salon. 

This is an important cause to her, but I think you need to hear it from her:

"Last year I watched the Facebook Live Videos of the Infinite Love Mane Event with my mom, and saw my friends cut their hair and raise money for Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer. We talked about why they were doing it and it was then and there that I said, "I am growing and cutting my hair next year!" I haven't looked back since that moment. I pledge to cut and donate 8 inches of my hair to the organization Children with Hair Loss, as well as raise money for Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer, it is just a good thing to do. I'm doing this for my coach and his family, especially to honor Mia, but I am also doing it for all kids! I hope you will support me as I try to support these causes."

We are so proud to have Jessie doing this for us and we have already learned some amazing things from her. She and her family made us aware that children with Down Syndrome are at a higher risk for Leukemia. Jessie even had a scare in 6th grade where she had symptoms of this form of cancer. Through test and a great deal of anxiety, they found out she was cancer free. 

We can't wait to be at the salon and create a Facebook Live Event through the Infinite Love Facebook Page to chronicle Jessie's journey through this fundraiser.

Jessie's Mission is about promoting and helping two organizations: Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer and Children with Hair Loss continue to give the most precious thing one can give to another: HOPE!
