The Friends of King (FOK) Annual Fund Drive is Thomas Starr King's most important fundraiser. FOK's mission is to raise funds to support increased educational opportunities and resources for all King students.


But we can’t do that without you.   

 

Why do we need to raise money?

LAUSD pays for the basics – King’s campus, teachers and administrators. LAUSD does not provide funds for the crucial enrichment programs that all of our children enjoy. These include:


Field trips     
PE equipment   
Beautification 
Art
Technology 
 TV broadcast
Filmmaking 
Robotics
Edible garden
 Sports
Sustainability 
 Music

                          

 

How much do we need to raise?

The Annual Fund Drive goal is $100,000+ in 100 days. That may sound ambitious, but last year we raised nearly $120,000. And this year we hope to exceed that amount with your generous donation.

 

How much should I give?

Any amount will make a difference for our kids! We encourage you to give as much as makes sense for your family.
