#Giving Tuesday - A Global Day of Giving
The DAPCDC’s Percy Julian Institute (PJI) provides girls and boys of color STEM field trips and Robotics classes, and for young ladies, a Girls Who Code program. Our programs are designed to give students access to dynamic and exciting opportunities that provide them with skills and abilities they need to succeed. Many will hopefully continue pursuing these disciplines in higher education.
Since 2011, through your steadfast financial support, the PJI has served over 1000 youth and many schools in the DC metropolitan area. We request your continued support and also the support of first-time donors. Financial support of DAPCDC will allow us to purchase laptops and equipment for our Girls Who Code and Robotics programs, to participate in robotics competitions, and hire the capable instructors for the STEM programs.
Join this important movement and invest in our students. Together we will create a new generation of scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs; change the face of STEM and technology; and provide opportunities for youth of color.
We need your help. We hope we can count on you.
