Help us raise $2500

Ecuador Mi Pais Foundation
has been supporting Casa Victoria Foundation for the last 10 years.
Casa Victoria is about a small group of people living in the heart of San Roque, a low-income neighborhood in Old Town, Quito, Ecuador. They dedicate their volunteer time to serving daily 50 children at risk in this vulnerable community.
Casa Victoria is their go-to place of safety, learning, and care for these children, who otherwise, would be out on the streets, exposed to many evils, such as delinquency, drugs, even prostitution.
We have always relied only on donations and volunteers. We have been blessed these past ten years with both. But with hard economic times now, recurring donations have decreased, and volunteers stay shorter times.
We truly need to hire two kind souls to more consistently help our kids!
We just need $2500 to cover wages for two workers.
At Casa Victoria, we have a simple but effective system of five Stations
around which the children rotate: Homework Station; Library; Biblical Values; Computers; Games, (including Soccer); and, at the end of the afternoon, a homemade, hot meal. Each Station is led by an adult, who up to now, has been a short-term volunteer.
But we observe a crucial need: CONTINUITY AND CONSISTENCY.
In order to have this, we must hire two people for the whole school year. And we wish to start ASAP
.
To finish well the last 5 months ( the second "quimestre"--five months, Feb.-July) of our school year 2019-2020, we just need $2500 to cover wages for two workers. We have always relied only on donations and volunteers. We have been blessed these past ten years with both. But with hard economic times now, recurring donations have decreased, and volunteers stay shorter times.
We truly need to hire two kind souls to more consistently help our kids!
Please consider giving the gift of love and joy; safety and care; continuity and consistency, to these precious children.
GRACIAS!
