We are raising money for equipment and tools to be used during our lessons. This equipment and tools are very helpful in helping our participants reach their goals physically and socially. Some of the items we are looking for include:
True Hope Therapeutic Horsemanship works with individuals living with one or more physical, cognitive, social, emotional, or behavioral struggles. Our lessons are tailored to each rider and throughout their six-week session, our instructor and volunteers work to help our participants reach the goals they have set for themselves. For example, meet Jayce. Jayce joined our program at True Hope for our fall session and while he really wanted to ride a horse, his fear of getting on kept him from it. After working with our horse Blue, he faced his fear at his last lesson and was able to get on Blue to sit with the help of his mom Amanda who is also a volunteer, Becki our Secretary and Volunteer Coordinator and Stephanie, our instructor. I think the smile shows just how proud he was to overcome his fear!
How to help:
Donate to our campaign
The funds raised will help us purchase needed equipment and tools for our program.
Volunteer your time
We are always looking to add to our volunteers who help make our program possible. There are different ways to volunteer, including working with horses in our lessons or helping with fundraising.
Gifts in Kind
Any of the items above would be a great addition.
Sponsoring a rider can help us to provide lessons to someone who might not be able to attend without financial assistance.
