10 Million Acres of land Gone. 2. 3 Million Animals Dead.
Did you know that the Amazon rainforest is still burning? In Bolivia, scientists estimate that more than 10 million acres of land have burned to the ground and more than 2.3 million animals have died causing irreversible damage.
Indigenous people make up less than 5% of the world's population, yet they protect 80% of global biodiversity. You can join the efforts to empower indigenous communities in the Amazon by supporting Pachamama Sabia a project of the Social Good Fund. Funds will go towards the empowerment of indigenous communities in the Bolivian Amazon as they embark on a journey to the Climate Conference in Chile COP25 to voice their concerns and protect their home.
