Birth Roots' 2019 Season of Giving
Changing the Narrative, Moving the Needle, Raising the Bar!

When new parents transition, from pregnancy to baby to toddler, buoyed by the wisdom and warmth of a deeply supportive community, everything that follows grows from these roots. Because of funders like you and the dedicated work of Birth Roots' staff and volunteers, expectant and expanding families are able to identify, locate and access essential support services for creating a healthier, more connected experience of pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting. Our Community Supported Parenting mission is vital because, everything that follows grows from these roots. Donations large and small made to Birth Roots ensure continued acknowledgement and attention to the needs of new and expectant families that have historically gone unrecognized or unmet.
Birth Roots models the message of Community Supported Parenting

- by creating a Family Photo Booth and photo essay capturing the real moods of real families
- by prioritizing raising the next generation of conservationists through the Pollinator Parade & Picnic in partnership with Maine Audubon, and, in our new Baby Roots Nature Camp in the Outdoor Classroom
- by offering Birthing From Within, Hand in Hand Parenting and amplifying this content on social media
- by facilitating Buds, Sprouts, Lil Siblings and Toddler Parenting Classes for families in the "first 40 weeks through first 40 months" developmental window. ...and sooooo much more!
