California Dance Institute (CDI) is an in-school and after-school, non-profit arts education program that teaches life and learning skills through dance and music. CDI’s mission is to motivate children to develop a personal standard of excellence through the rigor and joy of dance. CDI cares about educating the whole child—body, mind and spirit—to achieve well-rounded individuals ready for success in life and learning. The CDI program has been cited by noted neuroscientists and educators as providing activities that aid in children’s cognitive development.


CDI brings value to public schools. No school is charged the full cost of the program, so CDI reaches out to generous donors like you to "fill the gap." Please consider a donation to help bring this valuable program to the children of Los Angeles.
