A deadly 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Albania on November 26, 2019 near the coastal city of Durres. The town of Thumane (near Kruja) and Kenete (near Durres) were hit the hardest. Over 50 people lost their lives, hundreds were injured, and 4,000 people lost their homes. Almost 300 of these survivors are sheltering in Pogradec. Funds raised through this project will provide urgent humanitarian aid, including food, blankets, and medicine, to earthquake survivors sheltering in Pogradec, and will help them to rebuild their lives.
