STEM Education
Tech 4 Good powered by Uneed2 is a nonprofit organization. We were founded in 2001 with the focus to reach at-risk and underserved youth through our technology training programs. Our very first program started with three youth at one location. Currently, we have facilitated over 1,600 classes at over 20 locations throughout Northern California and trained over 5,500 students in Information Technology (IT). We have expanded our mission and vision from teaching youth to focusing on the family and individuals who need us the most.
We have noticed the demand for technology growth over the last several years. The demand outweighs employees and the educational skill set for IT and STEAM related programs.
We are preparing to serve the communities with the skills that meet the demand of the workforce by bringing more employment opportunities to the Central Valley. The goal is to teach, engage, and equip individuals to reach their goals.
Our workforce development initiative will be focused on underserved population, youth, women, veterans but not limited to.
With Central Valley logistic and manufacturing jobs changing more towards robotics, application programming interface, artificial intelligence, networking, and cybersecurity, there will be a higher demand for these positions. Tech 4 Good is here to bridge the technology demand culture with Central Valley residents and provide an opportunity to work where they live and have competitive salaries.
