Virtual Future Focus Fall 2020
The Future Focus program is a classroom-based curriculum designed to promote positive decision making among junior high school students. Trained volunteer presenters offer interactive programming to help students realize that educational attainment today has lasting impacts on their options later in life. It is meant to empower students that they have control over their daily decisions, as small as completing their homework and attending class, which can keep them on track for high school graduation and beyond overtime.
With the ever-changing COVID-19 situation, we are offering our Future Focus program online via Zoom for the fall semester and we invite you to be part of our panels! We have 7 sessions scheduled between October 13 - 16 to pre-record our career panels. We will make the recorded panels available to all of the Jr. High Schools in our county.
Sessions will take place on the following dates:
Tuesday, October 13, 2020 - 9:30 am - 10:30 am and 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Wednesday, October 14 - 10:00 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Thursday, October 15 - 10:00 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Friday, October 16 - 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Please sign up for only one, as we want students to hear from a number of different professionals. Once volunteers have signed up they will receive a confirmation email with Zoom links from Corinne Coulter, Program Director at EfTA.
Thank you to Repsol for being our Fall Future Focus Sponsor!
