Jamie Nieto Fund

Campaign update:
Thank you to everyone who has shared this campaign, offered words of encouragement, and opened your hearts to Jamie's recovery. It is truly astounding the amount of support he has received from those both near and far, from the track and field community, and beyond. We have adjusted the goal amount to represent Jamie's needs as he works toward recovery and fully functioning both on and off the track as he was before his injury. That being noted, there is still much to be determined, and we appreciate everyone's continued support, through sharing and directly giving to the campaign as we reach this funding goal and beyond.
On Saturday, April 23rd, Jamie Nieto was involved in a tragic accident while at practice, during which he suffered spinal cord injuries. All the details are still coming together regarding his condition and prognosis, however one thing is clear: he needs our help.
For anyone who does not know, Jamie is a two-time Olympian and four-time USA Champion in the high jump. He earned his place on the podium the right way, through hard work and dedication to his craft. He is now a private coach for an elite group of jumpers, in addition to an actor, writer, and producer. Those within the track world and beyond are fond of his regular interview series, Holla Athcha Boy, where he interviews world class and Olympic athletes.
