2020 MSU-Michigan Equine Industry Priority Planning Session Information (3-6pm):
Join the MSU Extension Equine Team and industry representatives at the Kellogg Center on Thursday, March 5, 2020 to develop action plans for the priorities established at last year’s Michigan Equine Industry meeting. Ernie Birchmeier, from Michigan Farm Bureau, will facilitate the planning session. After reviewing last year’s priority list, participants will break into small groups and develop an action plan for their assigned priorities. Participants will have the opportunity to network with fellow equine enthusiasts and industry leaders during a refreshment break (MSU Dairy Store ice cream bar). Join this important meeting to help plan for the future of the Michigan Equine industry. Check-in at the Kellogg Center begins at 2:30 PM and the planning session will be held from 3 – 6 PM, Thursday, March 5th. There is no cost to attend, but please register online as seating is limited.
Michigan Horse Council President's Gala Information (6:00-8:00pm):
Join Colonel Don Packard for the Michigan Horse Council President’s Gala, held at the Michigan State University Kellogg Center, Thursday evening on March 5th. Come meet your favorite clinicians that will be showcased at the 2020 Michigan Horse Expo. Included in the Gala event is a small plate dinner, cash bar, and cowboy music. There will be a "Speed Meet & Greet" where participants will be able to talk with the clinicians in small groups.
The Gala will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with check-in beginning at 6 PM. Registration is $25.00 per person with all proceeds benefiting the Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association.
