HOKA HEY 2020
YEARS, MONTHS, WEEKS, DAYS, HOURS, MINUTES & SECONDS
What is Time? Is it a measure of what we have done, or a measure of what we have left to do? Time means something different to everyone.
To those who have Health and Happiness the measure may be one. To those who have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy it is quite different. Imagine if you will, having a son who has been diagnosed with this Disease. Knowing that the beast within is attacking his muscle groups one by one. Spending all your Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, and Years praying that today is the day a cure is found. Knowing that you are facing a disease which currently is 100% Fatal.
Now I ask again. What is TIME?
The view of Time changes depending on through who’s eyes you are looking. This is the reason we ride for JAROFHOPE.ORG. They know there is no Time! J.O.H is finding the doctors and researchers who will find the cure. Now is the Time to end this Fatal disease and let the boys have what they deserve, a shot at life. A life free of Duchenne. That’s why Jim Raffone founded JAR of Hope. Jim was told nothing could be done for his son JAMESY. He has proven otherwise. His mission- Raise the money needed to fight the beast that is Duchenne.
Together with our sponsors we are
-TEAMJAMESY- Together we can change the world.
August 2020 TEAMJAMESY will be competing in the Hoka Hey
Challenge. This is an elite 10,000+
mile, cross country motorcycle race. It is designed to push both the rider and
his bike to their limits. The riders follow turn by turn directions without the
assistance of a GPS. Riders are also
required to sleep outside next to their motorcycles. It is truly a test of both
physical and mental endurance. Riders also have live trackers on their
motorcycles. People from around the
world will watch it live. Our last race
drew over 2,000 people from 28 countries on FB alone. Elite riders will
complete the ride in 11-14 Days. This year we have 4 riders competing for
TEAMJAMESY. The Riders all have one goal- Cross the finish line on our bikes
We ride for JARofhope.org! We ride to save lives.
