Hello Friends and Family, 

In the November 2022, I will be joining VOOM Foundation on a open-heart medical mission to Nigeria.  VOOM Foundations primary goal is to train and educate local medical staff while providing open-heart surgery to those who have little option.  I will be using my years of experience, training and skills to work one-on-one with the local team hoping to raise the standards of care in this lacking system.  

In 2013 there was not one single healthcare facility where someone in Nigeria could receive an open-heart procedure.  Patients either fly out of the country or die.  With the help of partners and donations, VOOM installed 2 operating theaters and 4 ICU beds to restart the abandoned program.  

I am looking forward to expanding my reach as a medical professional and giving to those who have very little option.   I appreciate any support you can provide and will definitely keep you posted on our activities.  Thank you in advance for your consideration.
