When given support and resources, girls and women are capable of incredible things. Along with a team of passionate and qualified individuals, Raising Up Hope for Uganda (RUHU) has established Muwala Mulungi, a women's empowerment program dedicated to providing girls and women living in 2 different slums with the tools they need to take control of their futures in a sustainable way and become the women they dream to be. Each program requires 100,000 Ugandan shillings to function each week. That's equivalent to approximately $28.
