June 2020 Trip
You can help us bring clean water to needy children in Guatemala!
Our June 2020 installation team will be going to a Compassion International student program in Aldea Chonimatux, Momostenango, Totonicapán, Guatemala from June 20-27. This program is facilitated by Compassion International in Guatemala and by a local church, Iglesia Cristiana Familiar “Bethania." Living Water World Missions installed a system at the church for its Compassion program in 2015 and now the church has opened an extension Compassion children's program in a rural area nearby to service the poorest children in that community. It is that extension program that will receive a new water system in June.
We are excited to have youth group students from Santa Ynez Valley Presbyterian Church join us again this summer and they will be a part of this installation at this amazing school. In addition to the system construction and education parts of the installation we will be assisting the church with other projects with all the student man-power!
You can help support this team by helping underwrite the general costs of the trip so that more of our resources can go to the long-term support and maintenance of our 80+ systems around Latin America, most in Guatemala. Each trip we incur costs for our team leaders, staff, unexpected expenses, and site partners support beyond that of the team member costs and system sponsorship.
You can also donate to individual team members through their individual page connected to this campaign. Each individual needs to raise roughly $1400 for airfare and in-country accommodations.
