225 by 2025

Together, we can change the world one student athlete at a time.

After successfully achieving our 100 by 2020 goal set in 2015, STEER is looking forward to tomorrow. On March 1st, 2020, STEER launched a capital campaign to support having 225 student athletes successfully impacted by the program across multiple schools in some of the largest and most challenged public school districts in the country by 2025. 

STEER has successfully changed the lives and outcomes for many student athletes in the Port Chester, Yonkers, Tarrytown, and the New York City Public School system, by delivering tailored services to student athletes and their families through distinctly selected and trained STEER Advisors.


Since 2012, the STEER model has proven effective in selecting at risk/at promise youths and efficiently developing a comprehensive set of services specific to the participant and their families which has resulted in achieving life-changing and sustainable outcomes. We have maintained a 100% high school graduation rate and a 100% college acceptance rate.
