Local Wildflower Class
Join ABG for a hands-on field botany class with Dr. Marilyn Barker. Learn about local plants, their identification, and uses. Class meets on Wednesdays starting May 13th, May 20th, May 27th, and June 3rd from 6:30-9:00pm. There are no single day registrations for this class. Class fee does not include field trip transportation or optional books and supplies. For more information please call ABG at 907-770-3692.
Space is limited to 16 people. Pre-registration is required. $10 cancellation fee applies. No refunds for requests made less than 48 hours from the start of the class, please consider your payment a donation to the Garden.
About This Registration
Class Meeting Schedule: Note the first class will meet at the Alaska Botanical Garden. All subsequent classes meet at a different trailheads around Anchorage. All classes are outdoors so dress for the weather. Classes take place rain or shine. Bring comfortable walking shoes (must be able to walk up to 2 miles over uneven terrain), water bottle, snacks, bear spray and extra clothing layers.
