The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn's Emergency Fund
This fund is being established to help the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn continue skeleton operations until such time we can reopen. The COVID-19 pandemic caused our closure on 3/13/2020 and the reality is that we will likely not be able to open our doors until, at the earliest, sometime in April or at the latest, sometime in August. It will very likely be between those months but at this point, like everyone else, we don't know when.
It is our goal to open sooner rather than later and only when it is safe to do so.
This museum has meant so much to families throughout the Chicago Southland, opening our doors in 2003 in small, 900 square foot building in Oak Lawn. In 2009, we moved to where we are today, a 12,000 square foot facility right in the heart of Oak Lawn.
Whether you came here with your children or grandchildren, or maybe you were a child when you visited and are an adult now, please consider helping us through this with a donation. Any size donation is greatly appreciated.
