Aaron's Presents Community Relief Fund
Hello AP Community,
We have set up this fund in order to gather resources that we believe will become increasingly helpful to those around us that we have been honored to connect with in various capacities over the past 6 years--kids, their siblings, parents, and grandparents, our staff, community partners, donors, and volunteers. We have mentored over 1,300 youth, and about 75% of them come from low-income backgrounds and families whose major source of income is jobs without benefits and paid sick leave. Most of these youth live in the cities of Lowell, Lawrence, and Lynn, Massachusetts.
Over these years, we have built a community based on trust and goodwill and our Core Values of Caring, Connection, Generosity and Empowerment. We are worried about what is to come for all of us, in our community and around the world, and we believe that we can be of the greatest help over the coming months by mobilizing our network and ethos of giving to help wherever we can and however we can, even though we are but a small nonprofit organization.
If you have resources available and would like to be able to help those whom we are able to identify as having some of the most pressing needs in our community, please help us build this fund. Aaron's Presents youth have given so much positivity and joy to our communities, and we want them to receive this same kind of care and support as needs arise. For many of our youth and families, we have become a meaningful source of support, information, encouragement and kindness, so during this time when we cannot directly work with kids, we would like to do our best to continue to be there for them.
Thank you for your desire to help, even in the face of your own challenges. It is truly an honor and a daily source of inspiration and hope to know you. Please call or email me anytime for any reason.
