MPJI COVID-19 Relief Fund
Help us raise $250,000 to help Black trans people impacted by COVID-19!

We have seen and witnessed the devastation of the corona-virus as it has attacked our communities. On April 18, a preliminary report from the CDC “revealed 30 percent of COVID-19 patients are African American, even though African Americans make up around 13 percent of the population of the United States.” As Black trans people, right now we need to take care of one another more than ever before.
Our national relief fund will be supporting applicants who have expressed and demonstrated dire needs to have resources available to them. If you would like to donate to support our COVID-19 Relief effort.
We are currently in the second round of providing Black trans people with a $500 stipend payment—no strings attached. To date, we've given out over 200 direct-relief grants. We believe that the most vulnerable of our communities should always be supported and therefore we will be prioritizing sex workers, formerly incarcerated, and people living with disabilities.
Our goal is to raise enough money to provide 1,500 Black trans people in need with $500 no strings attached to support their needs. The link to apply for COVID-19 Relief is here: http://bit.ly/mpji-
Since we launched our campaign, we have received over 600 applications, and we can use all the help we can get to help as many Black trans people as possible.
*All donations made are tax-deductible.*
