A Virtual Supportive Care Group
Cultivating Families Presents
Virtual
Supportive Care Group
For
Foster and Adoptive Families
What: Both foster care and adoption can be an isolating experience. This may
seem magnified during the coronavirus stay at home orders. It is our hope that this virtual care group will
provide a sense of belonging. There are unique rewards and challenges that only
foster and adoptive families face, especially during this difficult time. The
potential for emotional, intellectual, and physical stress can become high and
every bit of research shows that support systems (both formal and informal) can
have a beneficial influence on the entire family. The platform will be
Microsoft Teams. App available at no cost.
When: 2nd Tuesdays Each Month 7:30 – 9:00 PM
Where: Join the class from the comfort of your
home.
Cost: There is NO COST to participate in the groups.
