Buy a Mask, Help a Teacher
Covid-19 has deeply impacted everyone in the world and now more than ever are people able to truly appreciate the work our teachers do for our children. Even during these trying times, teachers continue to find creative ways to interact and keep their students engaged.
In the years past, we have been able to support many teachers’ dreams to improve their classroom environment through our Classroom Enhancement Program. This program is typically funded by fundraising initiatives like our Teachers Night Out gala. Through our Classroom Enhancement Program, we are able to help many teachers in Philadelphia like Mr. Frank from the Caring Center who received laptops and a printer to incorporate STEAM education to his after school students and Ms. Dana from Belmont Charter Academy who received flexible seating and other important materials she needed to provide flexible seating for her students. Unfortunately, due to this pandemic, we will have to postpone our event until further notice. This, however, will not stop us from trying to raise money for our teachers!
Since the beginning of this pandemic, there has been a need for PPE, especially masks. Unfortunately, due to the high demand, masks are becoming either inaccessible or overpriced. We are working with a manufacturer to supply businesses and individuals with affordable, high-quality disposable masks. Each order placed is a chance to give back to the early childhood community. Proceeds will go towards The Classroom Project's Classroom Enhancement Program.
