Longfellow Business Relief & Support

Financial donations to support Longfellow businesses are urgently requested.
The Longfellow Business Association (LBA) has been serving neighborhood businesses and non-profits for the last 25 years. Over the last week, approximately 50 of our Longfellow businesses and non-profits were adversely impacted by the looting and property damage in the wake of the violent death of George Floyd. Many individual businesses have received donations, but initial estimates place total damage at well over $600 million. Your help is critical to rebuilding Longfellow's business and non-profit vitality.
We're working to get the resources these businesses need as quickly as possible. LBA is committed to ensuring that those impacted and displaced can remain in Longfellow. We stand in support of local businesses and non-profits, including our many black, indigenous and immigrant-owned businesses. LBA will work to advocate for future redevelopment is equitable and just.
Funding will allow LBA to provide immediate and direct
LBA recently hosted a meeting with impacted businesses at the Lake and Minnehaha intersection, who all expressed their gratitude for the support from the community. Everyone is determined to rebuild in the neighborhood – “We love it here!”
Please donate in any amount to support rebuilding a vibrant and equitable Longfellow community!
