When choosing your donation level, we are asking you to participate based on a model of goodwill. |
One of yoga’s principles is to remember our inherent responsibility for the welfare of all beings. With such a large planet and an enormous global community, our personal reach to care for the welfare of others has to be a bit selective. We recognize that each community member has unique circumstances. As do each of our teachers and our admin team.
Therefore, we welcome you to choose based on your financial capacity.
We know many of you are unemployed, or members of your immediate family are.
For those of you who are more fortunate, we appreciate your consideration of the higher investment membership models or drop-in rates.
Advisors told us to set up membership and drop-in tiers and to give those who pay more greater access to more resources, materials, and special offers.
While this does seem to be standard across industries, for us it would perpetuate a model of privilege, access, and capacity that breaches our ethics for equity, inclusion, and service.
Therefore we are even more beholden to each of you to choose the membership level which you feel most reflects your capacity and the value of your experience with us.
- Each class is taught with expertise and care by teachers with more than 80 years of combined experience.
- Classes are tailored to the needs of our community. Right now. And, we will continue to stay current with you on what your needs are.
- We offer a period of community conversation and connection as well as a Q+A session following each class. This is an invaluable time for your questions about the nuances of your practice or to deepen your understanding even in hearing the questions that others are asking.
