Enjoy your own lunch while Huntington Historical Society Trustee, Toby Kissam, and Town Historian, Robert C. Hughes discuss the history of the various mills that existed across the Town of Huntington. They’ll also discuss the Van Wyck-Lefferts Tide Mill, which still stands and is thought to be the best preserved 18th century tide mill in the country.
This event is free and open to all, but donations are greatly appreciated. You can choose a donation level on the registration page.
The program begins at 12 pm and runs approximately one hour.
