Brady's family needs your help!
Brady, 7-years-old, is like many other kiddos his age. He loves baseball, soccer, football (Go Patriots : ), X-Box, Nintendo Switch, Fortnite and of course he loves playing with his big brother Carter (11). Brady’s mom Amy is a Dental Hygienist and his dad John is a Corporal for the Fair Haven Police Department as well as he’s the 2nd Assistant Fire Chief of the Middletown Township Fire Department (and a member of Community Fire Co. Station #4).
On June 23, 2020 Brady’s family was changed in an instant upon hearing that he had been diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Over the course of the next 10 months Brady will be going through an intense chemo protocol at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Once this initial vigorous course of chemo is complete, he’ll have another year and a half or so of “maintenance” chemo treatment.
What makes their story even more personal for our Infinite Love family is that John has been a part of our team since the summer of 2016 when he first volunteered to play a role in our music video for “Fighter” (you can see him getting his head shaved by a childhood cancer fighter at minute 3:38 - 3:34). After the passing of Mia McCaffrey in March of 2017 (Mia was the star in our video, the little girl in the blue dress), John and Ryan Clarke (also a member of the MTFD) had the idea of holding a Shave event to honor Mia’s life. In June of 2017 we held our very first Shave a Hero//Save a Hero event (held at John’s Fire Station), and continued with that annual event for the next two years where in total it raised a little over $80,000.
As you can imagine the next 2+ years are going to be intense and unpredictable for this incredible family and they’re going to need our help. Any donation is appreciated and for those of you who want to do more, please feel free to contact us directly (info@InfiniteLoveForKids.org).
