The Seventh Wave's Online Store
art in the space of social issues
How would you like to support?
The Seventh Wave is a BIPOC- and queer-led arts and literary nonprofit that invites writers, artists, activists, and creators to take part in a conversation surrounding the most pressing social issues of our times.
Each year, we raise funds to raise 60 new voices. In order to continue doing this crucial work, we typically host two annual fundraising campaigns: one that raises funds to raise 60 new voices for the upcoming year, usually held in the summer; and a second, more community-focused campaign usually held toward the end of the year. Our fundraisers are critical to the success and longevity of The Seventh Wave, as we are not affiliated with any university, institution, or major donor. As an organization that was self-funded for the first three years, we know how far a single dollar can go. And so we thank you for continuing to support us, the arts, and our community with your likes, love, and donations. In our online store, you can see some of our print objects. Notably, "We Keep Beginning," an unorthodox anthology that celebrates our first 5 years of publishing, showcasing words on craft from 26 writers and artists from our first 10 issues. You'll also find other featured works of art, like the postcard project "Rest Begets Rest," which were designed by 2021 TSW Artist-in-Residence Bianca Ng. Everything we do is rooted in community and conversation. We hope you'll find something here that'll inspire you to keep beginning.
The Seventh Wave would not — and does not — exist without the support of our ever-expanding community. From our contributors to our team members, our mentors to our partners and donors, we extend a heartfelt thank you.
