THE STELLA MARIS HATCHLING HUSTLE 7M!
RACE INFORMATION:
- All participants are partaking in this race at their own risk.
- Choose a safe running course, and socially distance according to the current regulations in your area.
- Registration is non-refundable.
- Race bibs and details will be emailed prior to event date.
- A current mailing address for completion packet must be supplied during registration. No PO Boxes.
- HAVE FUN! Think about each turtle you are running for; 1 in 1,000 survives!
When:This year’s Virtual Hatchling Hustle 7-miler is set for 10/16/2021!Participants can complete their race up to 1 week prior to October 16th or 1 week after.Local participants can pick up their packet at the Barrier Island Center in Melbourne Beach, and all others participants packets will be mailed out October 18, 2021.Where:Everywhere!Virtual races can be completed anywhere you are. We encourage you to run in a refuge near you.The Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge is a recommendation for Brevard County Residents, because it is the #1 Loggerhead nesting site in the world!Why:Your registration donation is used to directly support sea turtle research and conservation efforts. Be on the lookout for future updates on our social media, for how these funds will be implemented locally. All registered participants will receive some seriously awesome turtle swag- check back soon for updates!What:The Hatchling Hustle 7 Miler: Run 1 mile for every sea turtle species! Participants can complete all 7 miles in one long run or 1 mile per day in 7 days. This is a great race to get your kiddos interested in fitness and conservation!
