The Anata Project

A fiscally sponsored project of Dancers' Group

The Anata Project is a contemporary dance company founded in January 2011 by Claudia Anata Hubiak. At its core the company is founded on anata, a Tibetan word translated as egolessness, or the ever-changing nature of the formless mind.

As a choreographer, Hubiak uses movement technique as a physical embodiment of the active and fluid mind. The company's mission is to unite dance form with mindful action, creating performances and films that take an honest look into the genuine and courageous workings of the unguarded human heart.
