All of us have in some way been touched by cancer, and some, like myself, have lived that experience. Pancreatic cancer will claim the lives of nearly 45,000 Americans. It surpassed breast cancer as the nation’s 3rd leading cause of cancer-related death. I was lucky through accidental early detection, but very few patients are. I am committed to supporting efforts to improve these terrible statistics.

The Seena Magowitz Foundation has raised more than $12 million to support research and clinical trials, with funds are provided directly to the TGen Physician-in-Chief Dr. Daniel Von Hoff and his team. They head up revolutionary clinical trials, setting the national standard for treating this formidable disease. More than half of the patients in a recent clinical trial at the HonorHealth Research Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona saw their pancreas tumors shrink by more than 30 percent. An additional 20 percent saw tumors dissolve; complete remission of an advanced cancer!

In the 17 years since the Seena Magowitz Foundation began:

45 clinical trials have been conducted for advanced pancreatic

Only 4 were shown to extend patient survival

3 of those were led by TGen and Dr. Dan Hoff – thanks to YOUR support

I will match 100% of all donations, up to $15,000. I’ve set a goal this year to raise $50,000, 25% above last year’s donation amount as we must always strive to do more.
