Keeping Our Promise Annual Fundraising Dinner
Join Keeping Our Promise Rochester for our for annual Fundraising Dinner at Temple B'rith Kodesh from 6-9pm on June 9, 2020. The event will be MC'd by Brighton’s Town Supervisor Bill Moehle! We will have a buffet dinner, musical entertainment performed by Mirwais Nazari, silent auction and paddle call. Our featured speakers this year will be our program director, Ellen Smith, as well as LTC. James Pritchett and his interpreter, Soran Dawoodi, who relocated to Rochester, NY in 2019.
This event is being held to raise funds for incoming visa
approved Afghan and Iraqi wartime allies who are resettling in the Rochester area.
Preferred seating will be reserved for event sponsors,
speakers, and guests who purchase a full table. All other guests will be
assigned to a table on a first-come first serve basis in order of making their reservations.
Sponsor an SIV to Attend: If you would like sponsor one or more of the local Afghan and Iraqi interpreters to attend the dinner, simply select the number of tickets you wish to purchase labeled Sponsor an SIV. If you are sponsoring a specific SIV, please make sure to notate his/her name so that we can make a notation. Requested donation is $50 per SIV.
ASL Interpreter Services are available! If you require the services of an ASL interpreter, please send an email to [email protected] so that we can assign you a table close to the interpreter.
