In celebration of Filipinx American History Month in October, join us online for SIPA’s 48th Annual Benefit on Saturday, October 10, as we uplift the community through inspiring stories and all-star entertainment. The Annual Benefit aims to raise funds for Search to Involve Pilipino Americans, one of the oldest and largest Fil-Am non-profit organizations in the United States. For nearly 50 years, SIPA has served as an educational, cultural and business resource for the community, as well as a lifetime provider of various family, health and human services in Historic Filipinotown and Greater Los Angeles.
SIPA needs your support now more than ever. Its 48th Annual Benefit is typically an in-person gala, but given current rules against large gatherings, SIPA is creating a dynamic virtual program of notable honorees and powerhouse entertainment. In support of and appearing on behalf of SIPA are:
APL.DE.AP. *** LEA SALONGA *** JOSH DELA CRUZ *** CHERYL BURKE *** DAN LIN *** GEENA ROCERO *** PRINCESS PUNZALAN *** NICK CANNON *** and more!!
Join them as SIPA kicks off a five-year capital campaign and will raise funds for a major redevelopment project in the heart of Historic Filipinotown. SIPA’s modern mixed-use development, known as HiFi Collective, will provide much needed affordable housing, a new community cultural center, and more, including the John Eric Swing Small Business Center, named in honor of SIPA's fallen leader, executive director John Swing, who passed away from COVID-19 in June.
Registration for the online event is free. You can support SIPA by becoming a sponsor, purchasing dinner, or making a donation.
