Whether you drive down a country road or through the busy city streets of Nebraska everyone is impacted by the blood, sweat, tears, hard work and dedication of the men and women that work to build and develop our great state to what it is today and what it will be in our future. However, we must not forget the workers that assisted and lost their lives due to preventable work-related incidents and those they left behind.

United Support and Memorial for Workplace Fatalities (USMWF Org. Inc.), is a non-profit organization that offers support, guidance and resources to those affected by preventable work-related deaths or serious injuries. Sadly, Nebraska averages 50-60 workplace fatalities each year. Leaving hundreds of family member victims behind to deal with the devastation which takes place in the mind, body and soul after such an unexpected tragic loss.

Thanks to the generous donation of IBEW Local 265, USMWF has found the perfect location to honor, remember and recognize the working men and women we lost so tragically due to work related incidents, illnesses and diseases in Nebraska with a beautiful monument.

This memorial will forever honor and remember all of our fallen Nebraskan workers. This memorial means so much to our family member victims and workers.
