Join us for #GivingTuesday...Again!
It's our goal to raise $6,200 and be produce independent in 2021.
We raised $800 last Tuesday and are produce independent till August.
Help us close the $5400 gap by donating to #GivingTuesday...Again!

We partnered with Costco and Farms to families to provide produce in 2020. Because of those partnerships we provided thousands of pounds of produce to our friends during the pandemic. It is important to us to provide healthy food options to balance out the thousands of pounds of bread and pizza we provided every week as well.
Recently Costco has made a change in how they donate produce. They have decided to partner with Feeding America and give their produce to the large food banks in our area that then distribute to local food pantries or individuals. Since we do not consider ourselves a food bank or a food pantry but an urban outreach organization that provides food to the community we serve. Because of that reason we will unfortunately no longer be the main recipient of produce for Costco going forward. We might receive donations every now and again if the Food Banks are unable to pick up. We are always on call and ready for any produce pick up opportunities. Farms to Families ended their produce provision in October.
In 2021, we would like to be as produce independent as possible and not have to rely on partners like Costco or Farms to Families for the produce we provide. This is where you come in. We need your help in our ability to provide healthy food options in 2021 and beyond. When we purchase produce it costs on average .45 cents per food item. On a typical weekend when we purchase items it costs roughly $350. In an effort to provide our usual amount of food every weekend we are needing to generate approximately $18,200 for all of 2021. Needless to say, we need your help. Fortunately we have a generous donor that helps with half of this amount already. We are seeking your help in generating the remaining amount.
Would you consider donating this #GivingTuesday to Circle City Relief in our effort to increase our produce independence? Make January 1st 2021 produce Independence Day for Circle City Relief. A donation of any size is greatly appreciated and goes a long way to help us get much needed food into the stomachs of people that need it the most. People right in our own back yard of Indianapolis.
As you consider your donation, also consider becoming a monthly, quarterly or annual giver to Circle City Relief. We exist to Reveal Jesus Christ to a struggling world. Along with providing much needed food, we also provide resources to homeless and low-income families, counseling to people in despair, and share Christ with those who do not know him. Be a huge help to us as we help those less fortunate than we are.
