Who We Are
The CK Fund was founded by Kacey Hirshfeld and Chris Clayton to give back to the communities that raised them and support youth in Northern Virginia. Kacey grew up in Reston, Virginia attending Hunters Woods Elementary, Langston Hughes Middle School and South Lakes High School. Chris grew up in Falls Church, Virginia, attending Bailey’s Elementary, Glasgow Middle School and Justice High School. Now back in the Northern Virginia area, Kacey and Chris are excited to help youth in Northern Virginia make their own great memories.
What We Do
The CK Fund is focused on providing new opportunities, funding and programs to help young people and their families in the areas of school, sports and security. The CK Fund prioritizes being able to provide help to people and areas of the community that are in the most need. Through various fundraisers and youth programs The CK Fund targets specific needs in the community and rapidly addresses community issues as they arise through a General Fund. The CK Fund is dedicated to helping young people in Northern Virginia through the mantra, “little by little, a little becomes a lot”.
Why Donate
The CK Fund is unique in its fundraising mission. Rather than one recurring project, we rapidly address community needs as they arise. By donating to The CK Fund you can be sure that your dollars are supporting a cause that needs support now.
We are fiscally sponsored as a CORE Cause through the CORE Foundation, a 501(c)3 with EIN #20-5997764 registered to solicit donations in the state of Virginia. Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Additional donations assist in providing scholarships to needy kids in our community.
Thank you for your support!
