The goal of NBHE's homeschooling program, Parent As Teachers at Home (PATH), is to teach parents how to rethink education to be the leaders of their child's education by improving the parent/child relationship for personal and academic achievement.  PATH will onboard new homeschooling families by offering weekly Parental Training Classes which will include:

• Lessons from other homeschooling families' experiences

• homeschool teachers’ expertise on certain core subjects 

• sessions on scheduling

• training using the Google Workspace for Education platform (parents will learn how to tie together Google tools as a digital organizer for their child's lessons, schedules, creating online/virtual learning, etc.  They will also learn how to produce lessons and trade lessons with other parents using Google Meet for digital classrooms with other parents).   

These training sessions will equip parents with the knowledge they can use to connect, network and collaborate with other like-minded parents who align with their vision for teaching their children.
