Wildlife Bridge Maintenance $120 ($10 a month) Starting at $10.00

As a part of our plan to save the Titi monkeys, Kids Saving the Rainforest places wildlife bridges that cross above the roads of Manuel Antonio.

With the help of the local hydroelectric company (ICE) and local experts, we continue to erect bridges as needed and to carefully maintain the bridges we’ve erected over the years.

Keeping the monkey bridges safe and functional is an enormous job, due to tropical storms and numerous other factors.

Kids Saving the Rainforest runs the only legal rescue center which does rehabilitation of wounded, sick and abandoned rainforest animals on the Pacific coast.

With two full time highly skilled Wildlife Biologists, Clé Vargas and Aarón Lee, a Wildlife vet, Sofia Bernal, and Wildlife Vet tech, Dani Dion. Dr. Pia Martin is KSTR's Wildlife Regente, overseeing all of the wildlife at KSTR, and she has been with KSTR for nine years.

The team and Dr. Martin work with professional staff and volunteers, including many budding primatologists, to provide state of the art care for approximately 200 wild animals rescued each year. Without this center, most of these animals would die!
