By becoming a cannabis apprentice partner in Massachusetts, you are a regulated cannabis company in Massachusetts that is joining an experiential, onsite, and hands-on training program that offers high-quality learning using an apprenticeship model to support someone who has been negatively impacted by the war on drugs to have access to the cannabis industry. Partner companies provide paid learning and apprentice opportunities for retail, cultivation, manufacturing, lab, delivery, or other regulated cannabis industry services.

Partners are required to:
Commit to paying minimum wage for the part-time apprentice
Assign a site mentor and participate in the program mentoring and learning objectives, including an on-site project with the apprentice and COE/M4MM
Participate in webinars and other learning activities organized by the program
Hire and facilitate the apprentice getting an agent card with the cannabis control commission and pay them at least minimum wage during the time of the apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship Partner options include:
Part-time for 2 months and a total of 80 hours on-site working in a regulated cannabis business in Massachusetts
Full time for 3 months and a total of 180 hours on-site working in a regulated cannabis business in Massachusetts
Apprentice Learning/Working Areas:
Cannabis Retail, Cannabis Cultivation, Cannabis Manufacturing, Cannabis Lab, Cannabis Delivery, and Cannabis Research.
