We are excited to announce our 8th Annual Walk to Conquer Childhood Cancer on October 2, 2022 and we invite you to participate as a sponsor for this worthy cause.
We raise funds in memory of Kyle Addington, an Oakdale High School sophomore who passed away from leukemia in 2015 at the age of 16. Heartbroken, yet determined to honor Kyle's memory and his wish for a cure, his family hosts this annual fundraiser to raise much needed funds for childhood cancer research.
Sadly, only 4% of the annual National Cancer Institute budget is allocated to pediatric cancer research and very few new therapies have been developed for children in the past 30 years. We are proud to have raised $216,000 for research since Kyle's passing. Read more about our impact here.
Your sponsorship helps to defray the costs of organizing our event. Funds received from sponsorships are used to pay for event facility rental, advertising and marketing. Any additional money from sponsorships will go toward our fundraising goal of $25,000.
