Down to Earth Dharma: A Community Online Weekend Retreat

Suggested donation: $60-110 registration + teacher donation (we encourage you to consider giving teacher dana equal to or greater than the amount you gave for registration)*
People of all gender identities are warmly invited to participate in this retreat where we will approach the teachings of the Buddha through our experience of what is known as the feminine archetype: by way of immanence, embodiment, the felt, the intuitive, and the sacred. Rather than striving in our spiritual practice to transcend this world, we will honor and explore our deep embeddedness in life on this earth.
Through sense embodiment and deep interest in life as it unfolds, the contractions that bind us will have space to dissolve. This grants our hearts and minds the freedom to come into intimate connection with ourselves, other people, animals, plants, and all life. From this abiding presence, we can then respond to life’s challenges with greater understanding and compassion.

*In keeping with the Buddhist tradition of dana (generosity), the suggested registration amounts for our classes and retreats (other than Wednesday night dharma talks) do not include any payment for the teacher. The teachers are paid entirely out of the students' generosity. Please consider giving a donation to the teacher in order to support their ability to continue to share the dharma. We encourage you to consider teacher dana equal to or greater than the amount you gave for registration. You may give a donation at the time of registration and give later donations through our teacher dana link. Everyone is welcome to all of our events regardless of ability to donate.
