Session 1 Second Year STEM Track

STEM Lab: Second Year

For rising 6th - 12th graders or students in that age range.

This is a continuation to expose students to the tools and equipment used in scientific research once completing the STEM Lab First Year course. We will further our skill building, equipment proficiency, and setting up living cultures of daphnia, C. elegans, & C. reginae to study. The main goal is to have students begin researching, designing and collecting data on their own experiments. We will facilitate discussions with NHAS staff to help guide these projects to the completion of a paper.

For your safety, each group is limited to 6 students, and we'll be masked and observing social distance in the lab.

Don't let cost be a hindrance. Financial aid packages are available for all of our programs.
